| Gerry's Star Cabins | Fort Davis, Texas | |
| Close to downtown, on the highway. | Sorry: all cabins are rented for the Winter. | |
| Park in front of the cabin. We mow the grass once in awhile. |
View from the front porch: Sleeping Lion Mountain. Totally spiritual sundowns. Let us know what sunup looks like. |
Across the street from the Old Fort Davis Historical site, are two 16' x 24' completely equipped cabins. Full or king size beds, kitchen, bathroom, table, kitchen stuff, and chairs. Cabin #1 has a TV with built-in VCR. No phones, no cable. (Long term residents can order either.)
An RV hook up with electricity, water, and sewer exists between the cabins.
Great views, and close to the McDonald Observatory. 101 East Navajo Street is adjacent to Baezas Thriftway General Store on the east end of town and across the highway from the Old Fort Davis

| General Store is across the side street. Most complete selection of Texas wine we've ever seen. Buy some Rolaids to go with it. |
Go to Marfa and hang out in the very cool bookstore. Go to Marathon for the Internet Cafe. Go to a Star Party - be overwhelmed. |
Easy to find. Tough to leave. |
Go north, go east.
